Invisible Pain is a blog by David Lister, a paralegal with a background in writing and teaching. He was first diagnosed in his 30’s with hypermobility, a form of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and more recently with Axial Spondyloarthritis, an autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints. Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, he currently lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and daughter.
